Project Activities

A structured approach to identifying, analyzing, and disseminating best practices in Eco-Social Agriculture.

Led by IDP

Activity 01: Mapping ESA Practices

Mapping ESA experiences in Lazio, Calabria, Piedmont (Italy) and Northern/Western regions (Ireland). Developing an intuitive evaluation model focused on collaborative networks, environmental sustainability, and digital innovation.

Output: 9 selected good practices (6 in Italy, 3 in Ireland) with individual informative sheets published on EPALE.

Activity 02: Knowledge Exchange

A two-day in-person workshop in Rome for regional representatives. Includes SWOT analysis of selected practices and development of new business models using the Business Model Canvas (BMC).

Output: Training materials generated via participatory approaches to transfer ESA benefits to rural areas.

Activity 03: Training Toolkit

A four-day training workshop in Calabria involving companies and territorial stakeholders. Aims to improve knowledge and specific skills for implementing ESA activities locally.

Output: Toolkit containing practical sheets, BMC templates, evaluation tools, and communication guides.

Activity 04: Testimonials

Raising awareness among companies, sector professionals, and stakeholders by creating narratives of innovative ESA experiences through high-quality video interviews involving farmers and beneficiaries.

Output: Guide for creating interviews, standardized script template, and 5 video testimonials (subtitled in EN/IT).
